Meet The Doctors

Susan E. Ermish, D.M.D.

Dr. Ermish, a native of Berwick, joined Berwick Dental Arts in November of 2001. Dr. Ermish graduated from Berwick High School in 1988 and completed her undergraduate and dental studies at Temple University in 1995. Following graduation from Dental School, Dr. Ermish served for 6 years as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy. During her naval career, she was stationed for one year at King’s Bay Naval Submarine Base, and next five years at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene, NC. While stationed at Camp Lejeune, Dr. Ermish was deployed overseas with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit onboard the USS Bataan, which participated in both military and humanitarian operations in Kosovo, Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. Dr. Ermish now resides in Berwick with her husband, Todd Gunther, who teaches at Berwick Area Senior High School. During her spare time, Dr. Ermish enjoys fishing, watching Nascar racing, and spending time with her two cats, Smokey and Sonny, and her 3 bearded dragons, Rusty, Ryan, and Kurt.Dr. Ermish is a member of the Pa. Dental Association and American Dental Association.


Nathaniel Flook, D.M.D.

Dr. Flook graduated locally from Berwick Area High School in 1996. He graduated from the University of Scranton in 2000 and from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2004.  He is very active in the community and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Third District Dental Society, and the Luzerne County Dental Society. Dr. Flook is Invasalign Certified, he does many implants and smile makeovers and he works a lot with full mouth rehabilitation.  He is married to his wife Sherry and has two young children, Nadia and Keira.
